How did a 6 week course on Mindfulness in January of 2015 lead to a twice weekly program with a variety of Meditation practices for 20-30 attendees each week? Recommended for programming staff looking to balance emerging technology programs with contemplative offerings as well as anyone who is looking for techniques to quiet the mind for their current contemplative practice. Participants will also experience of one of these practices, Singing Meditation, as a way to focus the mind. No experience required just an open mind and open heart. Attendees will walk away inspired to start a contemplative offering using local resources.
