Laughter may be our best medicine! A balanced Constructive/Destructive humor style is vital for effective stress management and conflict resolution. Program Objectives include recognizing Constructive and Destructive humor, defining eustress, learning components of Laughter Yoga sessions, and examining the science behind uses of humor/laughter in managing stress. Course content (e,g,. Laughter Yoga, 'active listening,' 'active viewing,' Humor Journaling, and the pain of Destructive humor) will be discussed. The course curriculum will be available to all who wish to start a humor-as-therapy program. A humor therapy resources/organizations handout will be provided.
