All NELA conference attendees are invited to participate in a University of Rhode Island research project, conducted by Dr. Mary Moen, Principal Investigator. The purpose of the research is to get ideas about the competencies library staff in New England need today and how best to deliver learning opportunities. This research project is open to any librarian and/or library staff member between the ages of 18 and 80. The potential benefit of this research is the development and delivery of relevant continuous professional learning for career advancement and to increase individual knowledge and skills as libraries transform. This research has been approved by the University of Rhode Island Institutional Review Board and will take approximately 30 minutes.
