Ann Hood is the author of the best-selling novels The Book That Matters Most, The Knitting Circle, and Somewhere Off the Coast of Maine, among other works of fiction. She is the editor of Knitting Yarns: Writers on Knitting and has won numerous awards, including two Pushcart Prizes and the Paul Bowles Prize for Short Fiction. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island. In her new memoir, MORNINGSTAR: Growing Up with Books, August 1, 2017, acclaimed novelist Ann Hood revisits the books that influenced her early years and provided some of her most valuable life lessons.
