Leslie Wheeler


As the author of three series mysteries, Murder at Plimoth Plantation, Murder at Gettysburg, and Murder at Spouters Point, and a number of short stories published in anthologies, including the Best New England Crime Stories series, published by Level Best Books, where she was an editor for six years, Leslie Wheeler has done countless book events at libraries, bookstores, and other venues. She also has wide-ranging experience arranging events at libraries and other venues, as Speakers Bureau Coordinator for Sisters in Crime, a position she’s held for over ten years. In addition to Sisters in Crime, Wheeler’s professional memberships include Mystery Writers of America, the Boston Chapter of the National Writers Union, and the New England Crime Bake Committee, of which she is a founding member and serves as Chair of the annual Al Blanchard Short Crime Fiction Award Contest. She is pleased to announce the publication of a new mystery, Rattlesnake Hill, set in the Berkshires, and to be released February, 2018.
